Child Passenger Safety Trust Fund Program

The Child Passenger Safety Trust Fund Program educates residents of Los Angeles County on Child Passenger Safety. The program conducts Child Automobile Restraint Education (C.A.R.E.) workshops that teach how to correctly buckle in children and properly install the car seats in vehicles.  The program also provides free information pamphlets to parents to teach and build good safety habits.  The goal is to reduce the number of injuries and deaths suffered by infants, toddlers, and young children due to a parent’s unfamiliarity with proper car seat use.  Over the past 5 years, the program has given away approximately 700 car seats.
